Hello there, Saleshandy users!
Learn how to block phone numbers from being dialed, manage Do Not Call lists, and ensure your outreach stays compliant across all calling lines.
Saleshandy's Do Not Call (DNC) feature lets you block specific phone numbers from being called across all calling lines and clients. Manage global or client-specific DNC lists, add numbers manually or via CSV import, and ensure prospects marked as Do Not Call are automatically excluded from all future call tasks.
What is Do Not Call?
The Do Not Call (DNC) feature in Saleshandy Dialer gives you a centralized way to manage phone numbers that should never be contacted. Once a number is added to a Do Not Call list, it is blocked from being called based on the scope of the list, either globally across all clients or restricted to call sequences for a specific client.
This is especially useful when a prospect explicitly requests no further calls, or when a number needs to be excluded from outreach for any other reason. Even after being marked as Do Not Call, other outreach activities, such as emails, LinkedIn tasks, WhatsApp tasks, and custom tasks, can still be carried out for that prospect.
Types of Do Not Contact Lists
Saleshandy supports two types of Do Not Call lists, giving you the flexibility to apply call restrictions either broadly or to a specific client.
Global Do Not Call List
A Global DNC list applies across all clients in your Saleshandy account. Any phone number added to a Global list will be completely blocked from being dialed, manual calls and call
tasks are both restricted. If a call task already exists for that prospect, it will be skipped and moved to the Skipped Tasks list automatically.
By default, a list named Global Do Not Call is already created in your account and is ready to use.
Client-Specific Do Not Call List
A Client-Specific DNC list applies only to call sequences for a selected client. Prospects on this list will be blocked from sequence-based call steps, but users can still make manual calls to them. The restriction only applies to that client's sequences and does not affect outreach under other clients.
In both cases, other outreach activities: emails, LinkedIn tasks, WhatsApp, and custom tasks
remain available for the prospect regardless of their Do Not Call status.
Why are Do Not Call Lists Important?
Do Not Call lists are a critical part of responsible outbound calling. Here is why maintaining them matters:
Prospect trust: Honoring a prospect's request to not be called builds credibility and protects your brand reputation.
Compliance readiness: Keeping a clean DNC list helps your organization stay aligned with internal outreach policies and reduces the risk of contacting numbers that should not be called.
Cleaner pipelines: DNC numbers are automatically excluded from call tasks, so your team only spends time on prospects who are open to being contacted.
How to Mark a Prospect as Do Not Call?
