When you miss an inbound call on Saleshandy, the platform automatically logs it and notifies you so you can follow up quickly. If the caller leaves a voicemail, that too is captured with a full audio player and transcript.
How Missed Call Notifications Work
Saleshandy notifies you about missed calls in two ways:
Sidebar badge — A red badge appears on the Dialer icon in the left sidebar, showing the count of missed calls that haven't been addressed yet.
Inline banner — When you open the Dialer module, a banner appears at the top that reads: "You have X new missed call(s)." This banner includes a "Mark as Seen" button.
Each individual missed call row in the list also shows a red dot indicator until it is marked as seen.
Where to Find Missed Calls
Click Dialer in the left sidebar
Select the Missed Calls tab
This tab shows all inbound calls you did not answer, including missed calls where the prospect left a voicemail.
How to Mark Missed Calls as Seen
When you're ready to address your missed calls:
Open the Dialer module
Click Mark as Seen in the inline banner at the top
This will:
Remove the red badge from the Dialer sidebar icon
Remove the red dot indicator from each missed call row
Note: Marking as seen does not delete the call log. The record stays in your Missed Calls tab permanently.
How to Call a Prospect Back
You can initiate a callback directly from the missed calls list without manually entering the number:
Open the Dialer module and go to the Missed Calls tab
Hover over the row of the prospect you want to call back
Click the Callback button that appears on hover
The dialer pop-up opens with the prospect's number pre-filled
Confirm which number you are calling from in the Call Via section
Click Call
Where to Find Incoming Voicemails
If a prospect left a voicemail after a missed call, it appears in a dedicated tab:
Open the Dialer module
Select the Incoming Voicemails tab
Each row in this tab shows:
Prospect name
Inline audio player with playback speed control
Transcript preview — click to expand the full transcript or copy it
Date and time of the voicemail (hover to see day, full date, time, and timezone)
Prospect's phone number
New unread voicemails are marked with a red dot. Click Mark as Seen to clear the indicators once you have reviewed them.
How to Listen to a Voicemail
Go to Dialer → Incoming Voicemails
Find the voicemail you want to listen to
Click Play on the inline audio player in that row
Use the playback speed control to adjust the speed if needed
Read the transcript the player if you prefer not to listen to the full audio
How to Call Back from the Voicemail Tab
Once a voicemail is marked as seen, a callback option becomes available:
Go to Dialer → Incoming Voicemails
Mark the voicemail as seen if you haven't already
Hover over the row
Click the Call button that appears
The dialer opens with the prospect's number pre-filled
How to Set Up Your Voicemail Greeting
Your voicemail greeting is the message prospects hear when they call and you don't answer. It is enabled by default for each phone number.
To configure it:
Go to Dialer → Phone Numbers
Find the number you want to configure
Scroll to the Voicemail Greeting section
Toggle voicemail greeting ON or OFF as needed
When the voicemail greeting is ON, prospects hear your greeting after a missed call and can leave a message. When OFF, no greeting plays and no voicemail is recorded.
How to Customize Your Voicemail Greeting
The default greeting is: "Hi, you've reached the voicemail. Please leave your name, and a brief message after the beep."
To replace it with your own:
Open Number Settings for the relevant phone number
In the Voicemail Greeting section, click Change Voicemail Greeting
Choose one of two options:
Record directly — Records your voice in real time using your microphone. You can play it back, re-record if needed, and save.
Upload a file — Upload an .mp3 or .wav file from your device. Drag and drop or use the file picker.
Once saved, you can preview the greeting or replace it anytime by returning to this section.
Things to Keep in Mind
Voicemail greeting is turned on by default for every phone number. You can disable it per number from Number Settings.
Missed calls are logged automatically. You do not need to do anything to capture them.
If call forwarding is enabled and neither you nor the forwarded contact answers, the prospect is still prompted to leave a voicemail — which is delivered to you, not the forwarded contact.
Voicemail transcripts are auto-generated. You can read, copy, or expand them directly from the Incoming Voicemails tab.
