Hello Saleshandy users

We introduced the All-in-One Unified Inbox to track all prospect emails, even if they replied to your personal inbox.

To ensure private or confidential emails aren’t tracked, we’ve introduced an Exclusion List feature.

What and How This Feature Works

The "Exclusion List for Unified Inbox" feature allows you to exclude specific domains or email addresses from appearing in your Unified Inbox.

This features include:

  • Domain and Email Address Exclusion: You can manually add domains or email addresses to an exclusion list to prevent them from appearing in your Unified Inbox.

How You Can Access This Feature

  • Access via Admin Settings

Go to Admin Settings within your Saleshandy Settings. Locate the "Exclusion List" section. Include any domains or email addresses you wish to exclude.

Click "Save" to apply your changes.

  • Using the Unified Inbox

Open your Unified Inbox. Find the email to exclude. Click the "Block this Sender" icon located at the top right corner of the email.

Confirm to add the sender to the exclusion list.

  • Deleting Conversation

When deleting a conversation, you can now exclude the sender's email address at the same time by selecting the "Block this Sender" option in the confirmation dialog.

This provides an additional way to manage and exclude senders effectively.

Scenarios to Understand How This Works:

Let’s understand which emails/replies will be tracked when they exist in the exclusion list.

Scenario 1️⃣: If the “From” email, as in the email address which was used to send you an email exists in the exclusion list, it will never track the response.

For example, let’s say you add a prospect, [email protected], to the exclusion list of the Unified Inbox. In this case, any email you receive from Yashal will no longer be tracked in the Unified Inbox, as long as it is sent from [email protected].

Scenario 2️⃣: What happens if an email is received from a prospect's email address, but the CC email address is included in the exclusion list?

If the "From" email address belongs to your prospect, it will be tracked regardless of who is added in the CC or BCC, even if those email addresses are part of the exclusion list.

For example, if you receive an email from [email protected], and [email protected] is listed as a prospect in your Saleshandy account, the email will be tracked. Even if [email protected] is included in the CC and is part of your exclusion list, the email from [email protected] will still be tracked.

Scenario 3️⃣: What if the “From” email account from which I received the email is not my prospect, but the CC is my prospect?

For example, let’s say you receive an email from [email protected] discussing a project, and [email protected] is included in the CC. If [email protected] is a prospect in your Saleshandy account, the email will be tracked.

This is because communication involving a prospect, even as a CC, could contain valuable or actionable information. Even if [email protected] is listed in the exclusion list, it will still be tracked, ensuring you never miss important details related to your prospects.

If the CC email address is in your prospect list, it will be tracked. Even if the CC email address is in the exclusion list, it will still be tracked.
