At Saleshandy, What you're calling Sequence is actually an Email Campaign. i.e., Sequence = Email Campaign
In the mail, I tell them I will contact you in 3 months; some people reply with no thanks, so they don't need to be in the sequence anymore; some people reply with: ok, that's fine. So, they need to continue in the sequence.

In this case, you can manually filter and mark them as Finish and stop further steps for them.

Yes, when someone replies, the sequence will stop for them. To whichever step they respond to, later steps/follow-up will be terminated for those prospects. By default, the safety setting is turned on, which is considered the prospect as finished if a reply is received.
You can turn the option off if you want them to receive the remaining emails. Another way you can do this is to create a new sequence with those prospects
