Hello there, Saleshandy users! 👋

Ready to dive into the CSV world and whip up a fantastic email campaign? 📧

Awesome! Let's break it down into easy-peasy steps. Here's how you conjure up that mystical CSV file

Create a CSV File

Here's how you create a CSV file for your email campaign.

Step 1️⃣ Spreadsheet Magic 📊

First things first, grab your wand... Open up a spreadsheet application like MS Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice. This is where the magic begins!

Step 2️⃣ Row Naming Charm ✍️

Time to give your spreadsheet a dose of enchantment. In the first row, name your columns based on the Merge Tags you'll use in your personalized emails.

Merge tags? Yep, those are like the secret code that brings personalization to your emails. For instance, you could call your Merge Tag 'Fname' if you have names and email addresses. It's like adding a sprinkle of personalization to your emails! ✨

For Example, if you have a CSV of 200 people with their names and email addresses in it. You can keep the merge tag as 'Fname.' Now when you type Hey ##{{Fname}} in the email, it will be sent with their names in the email. You can have up to 20 merge tags with SalesHandy.

Step 3️⃣ Data Spell 📝

Wave your wand... uh, I mean, start entering the data in the rows below. Imagine each row as a treasure chest of information. 🗝️ Fill it with the names, email addresses, and any other magic tidbits you want to include. Enter the data that you have in this manner.

Step 4️⃣ Save as CSV Spell 🧙‍♂️

With your masterpiece ready, hit the save button! But wait, there's a twist – save it as a .CSV File. It's like locking in your magic spell, ready to cast its charm.

💡Pro Tip: Email Column Name

Ah, the secret ingredient! Make sure you name the column containing the email addresses as any of these options: "Email address, Email, Emails, Email address, E-mail, Email-address."

It's like giving your spell the right incantation to work its magic on your contacts. 🧙‍♀️

And voilà! You've created your very own CSV masterpiece, ready to be transformed into an epic email campaign. If you want to see exactly how your CSV file should look, download the Sample CSV File.

  • Whenever you upload a CSV file, already-added prospects won't receive the emails again. Only the prospects who have not received the emails will receive the emails.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

if my list has 1000 emails on it and my campaign is set to deliver 250 emails in the first sequence when I start the sequence over using the same csv list, the emails will go out to the next 250 emails on the list that did not receive the emails the first sequence

If the list is added to an active sequence, it won't send emails to the prospects to whom it is already sent from step 1. It will send emails to the newly added prospects.

When importing my list into prospects, what fields must I have for saleshandy to work correctly to send the emails in my prospect list?

You need to have an email and first name to be correctly.

Mission accomplished; you've successfully created a CSV File. 👏

Wishing you a delightful experience! ❤️

Happy Selling. 🤝

Warmest regards,
