Email Sequence:

Email Sequence is used to send a series of Emails along with scheduled auto follow-ups with conditions to a particular user. It is available for Gmail users only.

​Alias account for email sequence:

An alias can be used to send email campaigns; however to use an alias account to send an email sequence it is necessary for the alias account to have a separate mailbox.
​
If the alias account does not have a separate mailbox and still it is used to send email sequence then in that case, the 1st email will be sent from the alias account but all the follow-up email stages will be sent from the actual email account under which the alias account is created and the mailbox is used to send emails.

Note: It is not possible to send email sequence from alias account with alias account having a separate mailbox and email sequence feature is available for Gmail users only.
