Hello Saleshandy users! 👋

We’re excited to announce that SalesHandy users can now sync their email accounts with TrulyInbox, saving time and avoiding duplicate work.

Previously, users had to connect their email accounts separately on both platforms. Now, with this one-time setup, all your current and future email accounts in SalesHandy will automatically sync with TrulyInbox, making it easier to manage everything in one place.

How do I integrate SalesHandy and TrulyInbox?

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Generate an API Key in SalesHandy

    • Go to your SalesHandy account settings.

    • Select API Key Management and click Generate New API Key.

  2. Add the API Key to TrulyInbox

    • Log in to your TrulyInbox account.

    • Navigate to Settings > Add Email Account > Import from SalesHandy.

    • Paste the API key into the provided field.

  3. Authorize the Integration

    • Click Apply. You’ll be redirected to SalesHandy to provide consent.

    • Accept the consent to share email credentials with TrulyInbox.

  4. Sync and Verify

    • Once integrated, emails synced from SalesHandy will display the tag “SalesHandy Imported.”

    • Native GSuite and O365 accounts will appear but require a manual connection.

What are the limitations of this integration?

  • Single API Key per Account: Only one API key can be linked to each SalesHandy account and TrulyInbox account. This means a single SalesHandy account can only be connected to one TrulyInbox account, and vice versa.

  • Consent Requirement: Consent to connect the accounts must be provided by the Owner or Admin of the account. Regular users do not have the permission to authorize the integration.

How do I revoke access?

Steps to Revoke Integration

  1. Log in to your SalesHandy account.

  2. Navigate to API Key Management.

  3. Delete the API key associated with TrulyInbox.

  4. Syncing stops immediately, but existing email setups in TrulyInbox remain unaffected.

FAQs

  1. What if I integrate once and then keep adding more email accounts to SalesHandy? Will all future accounts be automatically synced?

    1. Once you complete the integration and provide consent, all existing and future email accounts added in SalesHandy will automatically sync with TrulyInbox. This seamless integration ensures that as you add more email accounts in SalesHandy, they will be recognized and linked to TrulyInbox without requiring any additional manual setup.

  2. What if I am using direct GSuite/Google/Gmail or Outlook/Office365 to connect email accounts in SalesHandy? Will all my accounts still be connected in TrulyInbox?

    1. If you're using direct connections through GSuite/Google/Gmail or Outlook/Office365 (and not SMTP/IMAP), we cannot directly sync these accounts to TrulyInbox. However, all your GSuite/Gmail/Outlook/Office365 accounts will automatically appear in TrulyInbox. You'll just need to go to TrulyInbox, enter the password, and manually connect these accounts. If you're facing issues connecting GSuite/Gmail accounts, you may need to create an “App Password” or enable “Less Secure App” access in Google.

  3. What if I am an existing paying customer with a TrulyInbox account? Do I need to do anything on my end?

    1. As an existing paying customer, an API key has already been created for your SH <> TI mapped accounts, named ‘saleshandy-trulyinbox-email-sync-api-key.’ To enable the integration, simply provide consent as described above. There will be no changes to your plan sync, and everything will continue to work as it did before the integration.

  4. How can I identify if an email account in TrulyInbox was connected manually or imported from SalesHandy?

    1. When an email account is synced from SalesHandy, it will have the tag "SalesHandy Imported" next to the account name in TrulyInbox. This makes it easy for users to distinguish between manually connected accounts and those automatically synced via SalesHandy.
