Hello Saleshandy Users đđť
ESP Matching is a feature that helps you match your sending email accounts with the ESPs of your prospectsâcurrently limited to Google (Gmail/GSuite) and Microsoft (Outlook/Office 365).
Once this feature is turned on, Saleshandy will automatically detect the ESPs of your connected email accounts and the ESPs of your prospects, ensuring that your emails reach the right inboxes in the most optimal way.
ESP Matching Case Summary
Prospectâs ESP | Connected Account(s) | Will Email Be Sent? |
- Google (optionally with Microsoft or Other) | Yes â Sent from Google account | |
| - No Google, but at least one Other account | Yes â Sent from Other account (fallback if no Google account exists) |
| - Microsoft only (no Google or Other) | No â Email is not sent |
Microsoft | - Microsoft (optionally with Google or Other) | Yes â Sent from Microsoft account |
| - No Microsoft, but at least one Other account | Yes â Sent from Other account (fallback if no Microsoft account exists) |
| - Google only (no Microsoft or Other) | No â Email is not sent |
Other (Yahoo, AOL, etc.) | - Any connected account(s) (Google, Microsoft, or Other) | Yes â Sent from any connected account (no matching restriction for non-Google/Microsoft) |
How This Works in Practice
Exact ESP Match (Google to Google, Microsoft to Microsoft) still takes priority when available.
If your prospectâs ESP is Google or Microsoft and you donât have the matching account type:
But you do have an âOtherâ account connected: Emails will be sent from that Other account.
If you only have a mismatched account (Google vs. Microsoft) and no âOtherâ: Emails will not be sent.
If your prospectâs ESP is Other, emails can be sent from any connected account.
How to Enable ESP Matching
Turning on ESP Matching is simple and can be done at both sequence and global levels.
Sequence-Level ESP Matching:
To enable ESP Matching in Saleshandy, go to Sequences > select the desired sequence > Settings > and find the option to turn ESP Matching ON or OFF. Simply toggle it to ON if youâd like emails in this sequence to follow the ESP Matching rules.
When enabled, ESP Matching will only send emails if a matching ESP account is available for each prospect. If disabled, emails will send as they currently do without ESP filtering.
